                               ORDINANCE NO. 10302
                 
                 
                  AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND PART II, CHATTANOOGA
                  CITY CODE, SECTION 2-152(H)(1), RELATIVE TO
                  PART-TIME LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL.
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
       CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Part II, Chattanooga City
       Code, Section 2-152, be and the same is hereby amended by adding 
a
       new subsection (h)(1)(iv) as follows:
            (iv) Notwithstanding any other provision of this
                 chapter, part-time law enforcement personnel shall
                 be paid overtime for all hours worked in excess of
                 the maximum allowable hours in a work period.  The
                 work period for part-time law enforcement personnel
                 shall be the same as for regular, full-time law
                 enforcement personnel.
           
           
       	    	 SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this ordinance
       shall take effect two (2) weeks from and after its passage as
       provided by law, provided that this ordinance shall be operative
       immediately upon its passage.
